► So it seems we're getting the tail end of Hurricane Irene. In the middle of the night my bedroom was 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) but by mid morning my room had dropped to 22 degrees Celsius (71.6 Fahrenheit). ► Senate weighs Canada Post back-to-work bill - Looks like the mail in Canada should resume sometime in the next few days. The NDP (opposition party) attempt to filibuster the government bill to force the postal union back to work lasted 58 hours and only delayed the inevitable.
